Are you an experienced Customer Services professional? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction and team collaboration are key? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client, a leader in sustainable packaging solutions, is looking for a Customer Account Manager to join their Customer Service team. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you’ll support the external sales force while serving as a key link between customers and internal departments such as production, planning, and design.

We’re seeking someone with strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude who can thrive in the dynamic world of packaging.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle initial technical enquiries related to packaging products and services
2. Manage the creation and approval of artwork, print stereos, technical drawings, and tooling specific to packaging projects
3. Process quotations, order placements, amendments, complaints, stock updates, and order acknowledgements efficiently and accurately
4. Oversee packaging stock management for designated customer accounts
5. Act as the main liaison for key customers, keeping them informed of any relevant issues such as delivery changes or lead times
6. Support tender preparation and compile detailed account information when needed
7. Provide holiday and sickness cover for other accounts by learning and understanding alternate processes
8. Join customer meetings or visits to understand their packaging needs more closely
9. Support development of customer systems and solutions to enhance service
10. Build strong, trust-based relationships by understanding customer requirements within the packaging industry
11. Represent the company with professionalism and product expertise

What We’re Looking For

1. Previous experience in customer account management, ideally within the packaging, print, or manufacturing industries
2. A solid understanding of packaging processes and customer service requirements is desirable
3. PC literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is highly advantageous
4. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
5. Organised, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
6. A collaborative team player with a drive to exceed customer expectations
