Job title: Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Brookthorpe Hall School – Gloucestershire GL4 0UN
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks); please get in touch to discuss)
Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE
Training allowance: £2,000 in the first year for role-specific training
About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Clinical Wellbeing team. The post holder will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils. You will hold a Speech and Language therapy caseload at Brookthorpe Hall School, support staff training, consultation and reflective practice, and contribute to a nurturing, safeguarding-focused environment.

Essential Criteria
* Speech and Language Therapy degree
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* A minimum of 5+ years practicing experience as a SaLT in similar settings with diverse and complex communication needs
* Experience in multidisciplinary working with some responsibility for service and team performance
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience of providing clinical supervision
* Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated specialty
