Salary: £29,- £34, per annum dependent on experience.
Location: Buckinghamshire with travel around the care home sites.
Hours of work: 37.5 per week.
About the role:
Initially working predominantly within the Fremantle Trust (wholly owned subsidiary of OSJCT) for a period of approximately 6-12 months and thereafter working across the whole Trust. For this initial period the role will be generally based in Buckinghamshire. The post holder will assist the Health and Safety Team, as well as Operations, Care Quality and Training functions to drive forward the Trust’s standards and culture by helping to ensure compliance in key areas including general health and safety policy and procedures, fire safety, risk assessment and quality of training delivery in the care homes/ settings. The post holder would also need to be able to conduct incident investigations and support health and safety related projects and matters as directed.
Essential skills and experience you'll need for this role:
1. NEBOSH Certificate (QCF Level 3 equivalent) or equivalent essential.
2. Tech IOSH Membership minimum.
3. Previous experience in health and safety in the Care sector or similar.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to deliver training.
5. Full driving licence is required. You must be willing and able to work in and around Buckinghamshire in FMT (wholly owned subsidiary of OSJCT) for 6-12 months and then move to travel to locations within the whole Trust geographical area thereafter.
