Job Description
* Assist with all stages of the conveyancing process, including sale, purchase, re-mortgage, and transfer of equity transactions.
* Draft legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and reports on title.
* Conduct Land Registry searches and submissions, including registrations.
* Manage pre- and post-completion tasks including SDLT submissions, requisitions, and discharges.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors professionally and promptly.
* Maintain accurate case files, using case management systems to update records and track progress.
* Perform due diligence including title checks, reviewing search results, and identifying issues requiring further investigation.
* Provide updates and support to clients throughout the transaction process.
* Assist solicitors with administrative tasks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and firm policies.
The Successful Applicant
Experience as a conveyancing paralegal or similar role in the past.
