Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Schedule: Full Time (Early finish on Fridays)
Contract: Temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent
Location: Prescot (L34)
Pay Rate: £90 - £120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated HLTA to support teaching and learning across a range of year groups. This is a full-time role starting in October, ideal for someone who is confident leading lessons and supporting pupils with a variety of educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher across different year groups
* Provide targeted support to small groups or individual pupils
* Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management
* Support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum
* Contribute to assessment, reporting, and classroom organisation
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience working in a primary school setting
* Confidence in leading whole class teaching when required
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Flexibility and a proactive attitude towards supporting both staff and students
