The Role
As a Senior Manager, you will:
1. Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex advisory projects, delivering technically excellent service and insight.
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of their businesses to identify opportunities across tax and wider services.
3. Lead UK and cross‑border teams, collaborating with specialists, overseas member firms, and external advisers to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
4. Oversee the delivery of compliance services, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
5. Support the leadership of the wider team, including coaching, mentoring, and helping to manage resourcing.
6. Contribute to business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
7. Manage engagement quality, risk processes, and financial performance.
8. Act as a role model for KPMG’s values and inclusive leadership culture.
The Person
You will bring:
9. CTA or ACA/CA qualification (or equivalent)
10. Ambition, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach
11. Strong UK corporation tax knowledge and broad awareness of related tax and accounting issues
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
14. A commercial, analytical mindset with sound judgement and risk awareness
15. Proven project management capability and the ability to lead teams effectively
16. A collaborative approach and commitment to developing junior colleagues
17. Dedication to ongoing technical and professional development
