Spire Alexandra Hospital has an exciting opportunity to join the staffing bank as a Healthcare Assistant, covering wards and outpatients as required.

Main duties of the job
Duties and responsibilities:
* Assist qualified nursing staff in providing high-quality, comprehensive nursing services to all patients and users, maintaining high standards of patient care in a clean and safe environment.
* Support and monitor patients, contributing to their well-being.
* Identify and report any significant changes affecting patients’ health and well-being to the appropriate personnel.

Job responsibilities
Who we are looking for:
* Previous experience as an HCA (or equivalent) in a hospital environment.
* Experience in theatre/minor ops or outpatient departments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with ECGs, taking blood pressures, and patient observations.
* Good teamwork ethic.
* Enthusiastic and energetic professionalism.
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care / Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable.
Contract: Bank - 0 hours contract
Hours: Various shifts, including long and short days and nights
