Role: Business Analyst - London Insurance Market
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with deep expertise in the London Insurance Market to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance lifecycle, including underwriting, claims, policy administration, and finance, as well as familiarity with Lloyd's market processes.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
* Lead workshops and interviews to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.
* Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
* Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
* Support UAT planning and execution, including test case creation and defect management.
* Analyze and optimize underwriting, claims, and policy administration workflows.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the London Insurance Market.
* Strong understanding of the insurance lifecycle: underwriting, claims, policy, and finance.
* Familiarity with Lloyd's market processes, including coinsurance, reinsurance, and bordereaux.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
* Proficiency in business process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
