We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Male PE Teacher to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in Bradford on a short-term basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students in their physical education journey.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
2. Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
3. Experience working with secondary school students.
4. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Physical Education.
5. Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
7. Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that promote physical fitness, skill development, and teamwork.
8. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
9. Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment and contribute to the wider school community.
11. Ensure the health and safety of students during PE sessions, adhering to relevant guidelines and procedures.
