As the Sales Education Manager – Trauma & Extremities, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of impactful education programs for our commercial teams across Europe. You’ll collaborate with surgeons, product managers, sales leaders, and marketing partners to build technical and procedural fluency across a complex and evolving portfolio. This role combines deep clinical understanding, strategic thinking, marketing and communication skills, and hands-on program management to ensure our field force is trained to win in the operating room and the marketplace.


Responsibilities:

Education Strategy & Program Design

1. Develop and execute the sales education strategy aligned with business goals and product priorities.

2. Design comprehensive education programs focused on procedural, technical, and commercial excellence.

3. Evaluate industry benchmarks, sales methodologies, and learner needs to continuously evolve training programs.

Clinical & Procedural Expertise

4. Demonstrate a strong understanding of trauma and extremities procedures, surgical workflows, and technical product details.

5. Integrate clinical rationale and evidence-based practice into sales training curricula.

6. Partner with internal medical teams and external experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Faculty & Customer Collaboration

7. Identify and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to co-create and deliver training programs.

8. Manage contracts with HCPs/HCOs, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.

9. Facilitate alignment between customer-led education programs and internal business objectives.

Training Delivery & Platforms

10. Deliver training using a blended approach: live workshops, digital modules, simulations, and virtual learning environments.

11. Identify and implement innovative learning platforms to enhance accessibility and learner engagement.

12. Partner with internal communications and marketing teams to deploy content across the most effective channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management

13. Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that support product launches, sales readiness, and clinical education.

14. Coordinate with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Clinical to ensure alignment across teams.

15. Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

16. Define KPIs, learning objectives, and feedback tools to measure effectiveness of sales education programs.

17. Analyze learner data and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

18. Stay ahead of market trends and evolving sales needs to anticipate future training demands.

Strategic Planning & Budget Management

19. Participate in annual planning and budget cycles with ownership of education-related investments.

20. Collaborate with Finance and leadership to prioritize spend and manage programs in alignment with P&L requirements.

What do you need?

21. 8+ years of work experience required

22. 5+ years in medical devices in marketing, or sales training/enablement

23. Strong knowledge of orthopedic trauma and extremities is highly preferred

24. Proven ability to develop and execute training programs with measurable business impact

25. Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills

26. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

27. Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines

28. Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority

29. Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

30. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

31. Fluent in English.
