Step into a senior position with a clear path to Directorship, while building your own team and shaping the Manchester office.
Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.
You’ll take the lead on large-scale 'building construction' projects, with the chance to become Head of the Region and oversee teams across Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Safety.
This is more than just career progression - it’s a chance to make a real impact.
There’s a 500-bed HRB already lined up to keep you busy, and you’ll get support to build your client base in the area. Growing your presence here is just as important as managing the projects.
You’ll only work on projects with realistic schedules and budgets. No chasing impossible deadlines or taking on jobs that don’t make sense. You’ll have the time and space to do things properly.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll advise and guide end-user clients and work closely with contractors and consultants on large, complex HRB builds.
As the main point of contact for clients, you’ll build strong relationships and make sure their goals and concerns are addressed throughout the project.
You’ll develop and monitor detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget and quality, and coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to keep everything running smoothly.
Keeping an eye on timelines and budgets, you’ll spot risks early and take action to keep projects on track. You’ll also report regularly to clients to keep them in the loop.
You’ll manage procurement strategies, help with contract preparation and make sure everything stays compliant.
Overseeing contractor performance will also be part of the job, ensuring deliverables meet the required standards.
You’ll develop client relationships in the region and grow a multidisciplinary team and the regional lead from very early on.
What you’ll need
* Experience as a Project Manager in a client-facing consultancy position within construction.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage your own workload
* Good knowledge of contracts and procurement
