Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

What awaits you:
1. You support the Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager by analysing designated service markets and deriving project requirements in line with defined guidelines
2. You advise assigned customers on technical inquiries across the current product range and coordinate technical requirements for planned projects (e.g., design, application, maintenance, replacement) together with internal stakeholders
3. You translate customer specifications into offers and orders, including early clarification of technical feasibility and commercial viability for customer-specific designs using the internal clarification process
4. You ensure consistency between customer requirements and product specifications using a four-eyes principle
5. You create, review and send offers and order confirmations and you support orders during processing, including production-relevant amendments and correct order data entry in SAP/ERP and CRM
6. You provide technical follow-up for assigned OEM customers, coordinate complaint handling end-to-end with the relevant functions, and contribute to internal projects, trainings and process/system optimisation initiatives
What you bring to the table:
7. You have a technical education in electrical, mechanical or power engineering with solid commercial understanding, ideally with a Bachelor’s degree or state-certified technician qualification
8. You bring professional experience in technical internal sales and you feel confident in business administration and commercial topics
9. You work confidently with MS Office and SAP or a comparable ERP system, ideally complemented by CRM experience
10. You communicate fluently in English (B2), additional languages are an advantage
11. You have strong process and system understanding and you act with a clear customer and sales orientation in a professional, solution-focused way
12. You are flexible and can quickly adapt to new digital tools and processes and to changing customer requirements and stakeholder constellations, and you are willing to travel occasionally
