We’re looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover basis, based at our Colwick site. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering excellent customer service and enhancing the overall customer experience at Enva. You’ll act as a central point of contact for customers and suppliers, managing enquiries, resolving issues, and supporting Key Account Managers through a “one team” approach. This is a fast-paced, varied role where strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Provide a professional and timely response to all customer enquiries via phone, email, and CRM systems. Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service and follow-up. Liaise with suppliers to coordinate services and ensure all Duty of Care documentation is accurate and in place. Support Key Account Managers with the day-to-day management of customer accounts. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and cases using CRM systems (Dynamics 365). Make proactive outbound calls to customers and suppliers to support service delivery. Promote and support the use of MyEnva, including providing guidance and training to customers. Assist with quoting, bookings, reporting, and general administration tasks. Support hazardous waste enquiries, including liaising with third-party suppliers and arranging testing. Investigate and resolve invoice queries, supporting both customers and internal teamsEnsure high standards of health, safety, and compliance are maintained at all times. Collaborate with internal teams including Transport, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless service delivery. Identify potential new business opportunities and pass these to the relevant teams. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise We’re looking for a customer-focused individual who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. Essential: Previous experience in a customer service role. Strong communication skills with an excellent telephone manner. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. A proactive and team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently. Desirable: Experience using CRM systems such as Dynamics 365. Knowledge of waste management processes or industry experience. Experience working with finance or order processing systems.
