Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Vehicle Technician to join a forward thinking team in York, North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
* Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle problems
* Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
* Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
* NVQ 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Minimum of 3 years experience as an Automotive Vehicle Technician
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret diagnostic codes
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
* Valid driver's license
