Role: Service Design & Transition Lead
Location: London – hybrid working
Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 + bonus + pension + LI + more
We have a great opportunity with one of our global insurance clients to be a Service Design and Transition Lead. You’ll be joining at an exciting time for the organisation and will be tasked with leading and driving the function forward, identifying areas of improvement and promoting the function at a high level to the wider business. You will remain hands-on getting involved with a range of projects, whilst also managing and growing the team.
The Role:
* Define and document the relevant service acceptance criteria with Delivery teams, ensure they are achieved, and perform QA on SD&T deliverables
* Direct engagement with several projects – the team currently has 25-30 live projects
* Champion SD&T look for any opportunities to expand the reach and scope of the team
* Identify any risks and influence key stakeholders to ensure these are addressed
* Review and aid the further development of the organisation's approach for Service Design, supporting the transition process and defining the acceptance criteria for transitioning new or significantly changed services into BAU operational support
* Promote and monitor project quality outputs to ensure they are fit for purpose and fit for use within operational services
* Engage directly with stakeholders to promote awareness and compliance with service transition quality plans and processes
* Line management responsibilities and the opportunity to grow out the team
Experience needed:
* Strong IT Service Management background, with relevant experience in SD&T
* Experience in leading and driving an SD&T function forward
* Manager IT Services, using recognised frameworks, methods and tooling to a wide and diverse user base
* Able to develop productive working relationships with wider teams and stakeholders
Nice to have:
* Relevant certifications – ideally ITIL foundation as a minimum
* Experience of using automated systems to support specific business functions or processes as well as Service Management toolsets
