Job Description
3. Prepare and review consolidated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
5. Coordinate the month-end and year-end reporting processes across group entities.
6. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
7. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
8. Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
9. Support the budgeting and forecasting activities across the group.
10. Provide technical accounting guidance to colleagues and subsidiaries.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Financial Reporting Manager professional should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
12. Strong experience in financial reporting and consolidation.
13. Proficiency in accounting standards such as IFRS or UK GAAP.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
16. Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
17. Experience in the transport & distribution industry (desirable but not essential).
