a Trial Manager to join our team. Each Trial Manager is usually responsible for 1-2 trial or studies. The post holder will be working with support staff and specialist teams in OCTO to coordinate activities to ensure on-time, on–target delivery of each trial in compliance with applicable policies and legislation. The role includes activities such as protocol writing, regulatory/ethics submissions, managing study sites and supplies, clinical data management, preparing progress reports, assisting with analysis, maintenance of Trial Master Files. About you You must have demonstrable experience of working to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and be familiar with UK clinical research structures. You should have a degree, or other relevant qualification, in a biomedical or associated subject. You’ll have project management skills, the ability to work on your own initiative, to problem solve and organise the work of a professional team. The post is offered full-time, but part-time hours (a minimum of 0.8FTE, worked over at least four days per week) will be considered. Some flexibility for remote work may be considered. The post is a maternity cover, fixed term for 15 months and will be based in the Oncology Clinical Trials Office (OCTO), Level 2, Cancer & Haematology Centre, Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE. If no suitable applicant is forthcoming at Grade 7, an appointment at Grade 6 may be considered. An NHS Honorary Contract will be required.
