As a Production Line Leader, you will need to have:
* Good communication and leadership skills
* A good level of English (written and verbal)
* Good understanding of basic Maths
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* (Desirable) Previous experience in a similar role within the fruit or food production industry
Details:
* Salary: Based on experience from £13.45 - £15.27 per hour
* Working Hours: Full-time
* Location: Nickle Farm, Chartham, Canterbury, Kent. CT4 7PG
* Duration: Ongoing
Role of a Production Line Leader:
* Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the packing line, ensuring all Compliance, Health & Safety, and Hygiene rules are followed
* Set up and prepare the line, checking fruit, packaging, and labels meet job specifications
* Train and supervise packers, ensuring clear communication and adherence to quality standards
* Complete all paperwork accurately and report progress or issues to the Packhouse Manager
* Maintain line cleanliness and return unused packaging to the correct department
