Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. The Nursery Practitioner will work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences that promote children's growth and well-being.
Duties
* Deliver exceptional childcare in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children at all times.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
* Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development.
* Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as safeguarding policies.
Experience
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and staff members.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential outings or activities outside the nursery setting.
