We are looking for an experienced, caring, and self-motivated clinician to support the work of the Community Paediatric team based at Breightmet Health Centre.
The successful applicant will have excellent clinical skills in a wide range of paediatric disciplines, including experience working with looked after children. They should demonstrate attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills, be well-organized, flexible, and self-directed, with a positive ‘can-do’ and problem-solving attitude. The ability to work confidently within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team and to meet timescales and deadlines is essential.
Clinical Responsibilities
1. General community paediatrics, including care of children with neurodisabilities in locality-based clinics, aiming to provide care as close to home as possible.
2. Responsibility for the health of children attending a local authority special school (secondary school), including providing clinics within the school.
3. Conducting clinics for initial health assessments and adoption medicals.
