Your new role
As amercially driven Associate Director/ Director of Building Surveying you will lead and grow our Building Surveying service line. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality technical services, driving business development, managing key client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the wider consultancy.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, developing the team, and ensuring excellence in project delivery across a diverse portfolio ofmercial property instructions.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management
Mentor and support a team of Building Surveyors Set performance objectives, support professional development, and drive a high-performance cultureContribute to the strategic planning and growth of the Building Surveying divisionCollaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutionsBusiness Development & Client Management
Identify and secure new business opportunities across existing and target marketsMaintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, including investors, developers, and occupiersRepresent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetingsLead bids, tenders, and fee proposalsProfessional & Technical Delivery
Oversee and undertake a wide range of Building Surveying services, including:Technical due diligenceDilapidations (landlord & tenant)Contract administration and project managementPlanned preventative maintenance programmesParty wall mattersDefect analysis and reportingEnsure all services are delivered to the highest professional and regulatory standardsFinancial &mercial Responsibility
Contribute to revenue growth and achieve billing targetsQuality, Risk &pliance
