Job Description Location: Crewe, Cheshire Contract: Permanent, Full Time About the role Radius sees significant growth opportunities in our Communications & Technology Business. The Head of Marketing will play a critical role in ensuring the execution of successful marketing programmes across the division, spanning inbound, outbound and divisional referral channels. Playing a vital role as we transition from a Mobile/ Telco Provider to a Technology Business. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy and Planning
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, aligned with the overall business objectives and growth targets.
• Drive the cross sell and upsell across our existing customer base.
• Identify opportunities to drive lead generation, increase market share, and strengthen the Radius brand.
• Collaborate with the Commercial & Product Director, and leadership teams, to align marketing plans with priorities and sales objectives. Lead Generation and Campaign Execution
• Deliver high-quality leads through multi-channel marketing campaigns, including inbound and outbound activities, as well as divisional referral programs.
• Design and execute specific campaigns tailored to the needs of local markets while maintaining alignment with the overall brand strategy.
• Utilise performance data to optimise campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI). Team Leadership and Development
• Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, ensuring each country has adequate resources to support local initiatives.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Customer Experience and Retention
• Work with sales and customer support teams to deliver a consistent experience for customers.
• Manage in life communications to deliver the best customer experience and increase product penetration
• Develop and implement customer retention strategies, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and product adoption. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure effective communication of product features, updates, and benefits to the market.
• Partner with sales and regional leaders to ensure marketing efforts directly support sales pipelines and revenue goals. Data-Driven Decision-Making
• Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders on campaign effectiveness and overall progress.
• Use insights from market and customer data to refine strategies and prioritise initiatives that deliver measurable results. Brand and Messaging Consistency
• Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring alignment with global standards while adapting to local cultural and market nuances. Market Research and Competitor Analysis
• Stay informed of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Use insights to identify new opportunities and refine marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Budget Management
• Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and within financial parameters.
• Track and report on budget utilisation, demonstrating accountability and financial stewardship. Qualifications
• Proven experience operating at Head of Marketing / Divisional Marketing Lead level within a Telecoms/ Cloud or IT business.
• Track record of building and scaling marketing capability in growth-led environments, ideally within telecoms, technology, fleet, SaaS, or adjacent services.
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed structure, balancing global brand standards with strong local market execution.
• Demonstrable ownership of end-to-end demand generation, spanning inbound, outbound and referral-led channels.
• Strong evidence of marketing-to-revenue impact: pipeline creation, lead quality, conversion rates and ROI.
• Experience partnering tightly with Sales to shape pipeline, influence deal velocity and improve win rates.
• Ability to translate central strategy into market-specific plays without diluting brand or commercial focus.
• Comfortable managing agency partners and internal teams to deliver at pace. Additional Information What we offer:
