Job Overview
Maximise sales growth for complex, full-service offerings aligned with company strategy and objectives by leveraging information technology and sales tools to engage effectively with diverse target audiences. Achieve sales targets by collaborating with and leading field sales representatives. Identify and qualify leads, supporting or leading business development and sales activities to contribute to new business wins.
Essential Functions
1. Achieve and/or exceed monthly sales targets by collaborating with field sales representatives. Enhance the sales process by analyzing new customer pipelines and prospecting new customers.
2. Work collaboratively with multiple field sales representatives to develop customer account plans that maximize opportunities and generate sales activity.
3. Identify, qualify, and capitalize on new sales opportunities by gathering information from various sources to understand prospective customers’ needs, making informed decisions, and recommending strategies to management.
4. Proactively coordinate lead identification and qualification throughout the sales cycle.
5. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and partners, while proactively seeking new customers through call planning and execution.
6. Engage with customers and target audiences via telephone, email, and online meetings.
7. Participate in strategy calls and bid defenses as needed.
8. Join joint calls in the field with sales representatives when required.
9. Communicate directly with sales management and colleagues to ensure consistent approach and clear reporting of sales performance and customer information.
10. Contribute to the development of tailored communication materials, such as proposals and marketing materials, to strengthen client relationships.
11. Maximize sales through effective use of sales and marketing materials, databases, and technologies.
12. Maintain accurate records in reporting systems like CRM (e.g., Salesforce), including daily calls and activity reports.
13. Keep management informed about pipeline changes, competitor activities, and market trends.
14. Stay updated on relevant specialty and disease area knowledge as required.
15. Execute leads, tasks, and assignments from various sources, recording activities in CRM.
16. Handle inbound and outbound calls with healthcare professionals and triage inquiries as needed.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Demonstrable B2B sales experience
* Knowledge of the Life Science or Pharma market and drug development lifecycle (preferred)
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships internally and across sales teams
* Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite and Internet)
* Focus and commitment to targets
* Ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources
* Positive, energetic, flexible, and supportive attitude
* Additional European language skills are beneficial
* Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience or equivalent education, training, and experience
