The overall purpose of this job is to support the Logistics Manager in delivering an efficient service to operations.
We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission. Here’s how you will contribute…
1. Operating safely within stores
2. Dealing with industrial staff when they visit stores
3. Taking responsibility for waste streams at the depot
4. Keeping stores tidy and organised
5. Working as part of the Stores and Logistics Team supporting a busy operational depot
6. Taking delivery of materials, plant, and equipment
What you will need
1. A flexible attitude to work and willingness to develop new skills for a career in the gas industry
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with members of the public
3. Familiarity with the use of smartphones, tablets, and computers
4. Knowledge of the gas industry is an advantage but not essential
5. Ability to travel to and from the depot
6. Forklift license is preferred but training can be provided
7. Understanding of operational environments and job requirements
