SEN Teacher / SEN ECT – About the Role As an SEN Teacher / SEN ECT, your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering personalised lessons that cater to a wide range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including TAs, therapists, and SENCOs, to develop EHCPs and learning plans Using a variety of strategies and interventions to promote engagement, independence, and progress Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, and adapting teaching accordingly Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning beyond the classroom SEN Teacher / SEN ECT – Candidate Specification As SEN Teacher / SEN ECT we will be looking for: Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or in a placement). Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
