Transport Shift Admin ClerkLocation: KnottingleyJob Type: Temp to PermShifts Available:Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00 £13.21 per hourMonday to Friday 22:00 to 06:00 £15.91 per hourWe are currently recruiting for experienced and motivated Transport Shift Controllers / Transport Team Leaders to join a busy transport operation based in Knottingley, Wakefield. These are excellent temp-to-perm opportunities for candidates with strong transport, logistics, or operational experience looking to progress within a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Transport Shift Managers with the day-to-day direction and control of operational resources to achieve performance targetsAssist the Senior Transport Controller with driver management and debrief processesEnsure adherence to all operational procedures, company policies, and compliance standardsMaintain service schedules and ensure all O Licence commitments are metEnsure reported vehicle defects are actioned immediatelyEnsure correct handling, security, and transport procedures are followed at all timesParticipate in relevant training and maintain knowledge of company systems and processesCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience within transport, logistics, or warehouse operations preferredGood IT skills and ability to use transport systems confidentlyStrong communication and organisational skillsPunctual, reliable, and professional attitudeAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentGood attention to detail and problem-solving abilityWhats on OfferMonday to Friday working patternWeekly payTemp-to-perm opportunityCareer progression within a growing operationSupportive working environmentPlease apply via the link or send any Cv's toTPBN1_UKTJ
