What's the opportunity?
A long-established and reputable accountancy practice in Antrim is seeking a part-qualified accountant to join their in-office team. The firm works with a varied and loyal client base across Northern Ireland and is offering a role with real hands-on responsibility in accounts preparation, client interaction and general practice support.
This role would suit a part-qualified ACA/ACCA candidate looking to gain further experience in a stable, supportive setting, with flexibility around working hours for the right individual.
What will you be doing?
1. Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
2. Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts
3. Liaising directly with clients to request information and resolve queries
4. Supporting senior staff in delivery of high-quality service
5. Using a range of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
What do you need?
6. Part-qualified ACA or ACCA with relevant practice experience
7. Confident preparing accounts from trial balance
8. Experience with VAT returns and client communication
9. A team-focused mindset and willingness to work fully in-office
10. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
