Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This role will provide administrative support in various HR functions, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for people and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
o Maintain and update employee records (contracts, personal files, leave records).
o Assist with onboarding of new hires
o Support managers with grievance, disciplinary and performance management cases
o Support recruitment activities
o Monitor absence recording, reports and carry out return to work meetings
o Help administer performance reviews, and training schedules
o Assist with HR reporting and compliance requirements
o Prepare and maintain HR-related correspondence and documentation
o Handle HR-related inquiries from employees
o Support ad hoc HR and payroll projects as needed.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
* A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of HR practices and employment law is a plus.
