Are you passionate about protecting the environment and championing the wellbeing of our communities? We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader to join us as Assistant Director - Regulatory at Broadland District Council and South Norfolk Council.
In this pivotal role you will lead the operational delivery of essential services that safeguard the environment, uphold public health, and maintain the high quality of life across Broadland and South Norfolk.
You will oversee key areas which include Food Health Safety and Licencing, Environmental Services and Protection and Emergency Planning and you will be based in our excellent new offices, conveniently located on the eastern edge of Norwich.
Using strong and demonstrable leadership skills, you will empower your teams to consistently deliver high performance in achieving their objectives. By leading the operational delivery of these critical services and contributing to the development of long-term strategic plans, you will play a key role in fostering safe, healthy, and vibrant communities, ensuring our residents can enjoy clean air, quiet environments, and confidently support local restaurants, knowing they meet high food hygiene standards. Your contribution will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for people in the communities we serve.
