We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney dedicated to the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for diabetes management.
The site has played a key role in the research, development, and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Glucose Monitoring System, along with future products like FreeStyle Libre 2, Libre 3, and Libre Sense.
We are passionate about improving people's lives. Due to strong business growth and industry-leading product development, we have an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Validation Quality Assurance team.
The Role:
With a strong background in design control and validation, you will act as the primary representative for the Quality Assurance function on cross-functional project teams.
You will provide QA expertise, strategy, and guidance for New Product Introduction (NPI) and site expansion projects, focusing on qualification of new manufacturing equipment and facilities (including clean rooms), process validations, and Risk Management (pFMEA). You will also oversee changes to existing products and processes.
On a daily basis, this role involves collaboration with Technical Services, Operations, Engineering, and Regulatory teams across the site.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a related discipline, with experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical environment. A thorough understanding of design control processes and validation lifecycle is essential.
Proactive individuals who take initiative and work well in teams are preferred. Good communication, analytical, and time management skills are necessary, especially in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
