The Management Team at The James Cochrane Practice are seeking a Practice Administrator to support them in a variety of administrative tasks. This is a varied role - no two days will be the same. You'll help keep the practice running safely, efficiently, and compliantly whilst supporting a wide range of core functions.

Job Summary
The Practice Administrator is responsible for providing valuable support and resource to the Practice Management Team. The role is flexible and responsive to the needs of the business, and specific projects may be tasked which could fall outside of the primary role. The post holder is responsible to the Patient Services Manager but will liaise closely with other members of the Practice Management Team as appropriate, to meet business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Practice Administration
Administration support as required, to meet the varying and changeable needs of the practice. Working in close liaison with Patient Services Manager.
Including, but not limited to:
Digital and IT Support
· Systems support and maintenance (e.g. Emis, Docman, AccuRx, Microsoft Office)
· General IT support and troubleshooting
Business and Operational Support
· Supporting management led project activity as needed‑led project activity as needed
· Running searches and reports for clinical audits and data quality
· Administrative support for system and process reviews
· Ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
Patient Engagement
· Help run and develop our Patient Group
· Producing and updating practice literature, (e.g. newsletters, leaflets, guides)
· Assisting in health campaigns such as seasonal vaccination recall and clinics
· Supporting patients with queries as needed
· Updating and maintaining digital channels such as social media, website and waiting room screens
Communication
Using a variety of methods to communicate well with a range of stakeholders, including patients, other members of the practice team, and people from other organisations.

Pay: £13.20 per hour
