Quality technician

Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Coleshill
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract- 3 month probation
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, 6AM-2PM

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Quality Technician on behalf of our client in Coleshill. This position has been created due to increased workload and will play a key role in ensuring inspections, documentation, and compliance standards are met. You will be part of a team working to maintain high levels of quality, reduce delays, and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform inspections and measurements in line with engineering drawings.

* Use basic QA/QC tools and problem-solving techniques.

* Support non-conformance reporting, escalation, and closure.

* Maintain production and quality-related records accurately.

* Ensure strong standards of 5S are upheld in the work area.

* Escalate quality risks promptly and follow through on corrective actions.

* Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.

* Carry out other duties as required.

About You
1. Experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally in cable management or modular frame assembly, but not essential).
