Senior Reprographics Technician / Senior Prepress Operator

What You’ll Do
* Play a key role in interfacing between the Customer Service, Press and Finishing teams to ensure optimum cross flow with the Reprographics team
* Take ownership of complex, high value, and time critical jobs
* Perform advanced preflight checks and fix file, font, colour, and imposition issues if required before jobs go to print
* Lead colour management, produce contract proofs, and support press with troubleshooting
* Oversee accurate, efficient CTP plate production and minimal waste
* Prioritise workloads, solve production issues fast, and keep MIS data accurate
* Organise, coach and mentor junior team members and champion best practice
What You’ll Bring
* Extensive lithographic/repro pre-press experience, with a commitment to quality and high standards
* Advanced level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software
* Strong experience with Workflow/RIP and imposition systems (e.g. Prinergy, XMF, AGFA Apogee or similar)
* Proven CTP plating experience (operation and control) l identifying and resolving issues at the pre-press stage
* Calm, confident decision-maker with outstanding attention to detail and takes pride in their work
* Clear communicator who works effectively with Press, Production & Customer Services and can maintain a sense of calm
* Strong knowledge of packaging and/or commercial litho print processes.
