Highways Maintenance Operative Role
We are seeking a skilled Highways Maintenance Operative to join our Transportation team based in the region.
* You will be responsible for contributing to the efficient and timely delivery of highway service requirements across the network, including reactive works, emergency response, and minor civils works/improvement works.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Contributing to customer care by working closely with team members and ensuring client and network users are dealt with in a polite and courteous manner.
* Responding to defects on the highway within designated timescales and updating relevant parties through tablets devices.
* Using tablet devices at incidents and emergency repairs on the network and completing record sheets as required.
* Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and maintaining them in good order.
Requirements:
* You must hold a full driving licence and be willing to undertake LGV training once business targets are met.
* You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicating faults or issues effectively.
