A well-known FTSE company operating on a global scale is seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to join their Legal and Governance team as a Board Support and Governance Coordinator. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of board and committee governance, while also providing high-level executive support to the General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Your responsibilities:
* Supporting effective operation of Board and Committee governance.
* Coordinating meeting logistics, preparing agendas, minutes, and board packs.
* Liaising with senior stakeholders for timely and accurate communication.
* Maintaining governance calendars and statutory records.
* Supporting regulatory filings and compliance tracking.
* Providing executive assistance to the General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Essential skills include a strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion in handling confidential information.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in governance and board support within a corporate or legal environment. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous experience as an EA to senior board members is beneficial.
