A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor, ideally 2 years PQE, to join a well-regarded Legal firm’s Public Family Law team based in Blackburn.

Hybrid working available (3 days in-office, 2 remote), though flexibility is expected to prioritise court hearings and client needs.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload focused on public family law matters including care proceedings, child protection, and special guardianships.
Responsibilities include:
* Representing clients at court hearings
* Providing legal advice both verbally and in writing
* Managing communications with all relevant parties
* Supporting junior staff and contributing to team objectives
* Ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards
* Participating in business development and team strategy
The successful Solicitor will:
* Be a qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive (ideally 2+ years PQE, although less PQE will be considered depending on prior experience)
* Have experience handling public childcare matters
* Be confident managing their own caseload and deadlines
* Show strong client care, organisational, and communication skills
* Demonstrate commercial awareness and IT competence
