Senior Team Manager - Head of Perm recruitment
Location: London (Liverpool Street/Moorgate area)

We specialise in medical devices, regulatory, quality, medical and clinical practice, enabling patients worldwide to access safe, innovative products.
We are looking for a Senior Team Manager to lead Perm recruitment, build a high-performing, international team, and shape the strategic direction of the function.
Role
The role – Team manager (Perm)
This is a high-growth role with significant potential for career progression and broader responsibility within the business. You will be the face of Perm recruitment at Elemed, responsible for building and leading an internationally focused team of experienced consultants, leveraging existing client relationships to expand service offerings. The role combines leadership, billing, and account management with influence over strategy and commercial direction.
Responsibilities
* Grow the footprint of Permanent recruitment globally
* Ensure a constant flow of new jobs into the team
* Develop a strong personal brand amongst candidates and clients within our niche
* Inherit a warm desk and maximise relationships
* Manage and oversee the full-cycle 360 recruitment process: role briefing, search and selection, interview coaching, closing, follow-up
* Develop major client accounts and convert warm prospects into active companies and candidates
* Set standards and lead by example across all recruitment lifecycle areas
* Deliver an excellent candidate and company experience at all times
* Collaborate with the marketing team on strategies for candidate and client acquisition
Leadership
* Design hiring strategy, targets and metrics for team success
* Lead, train and manage a small team of consultants with growth responsibility
* Own sales accountability for the team, measure performance and demonstrate best practices
* Hire, develop, attract and retain talent
* Implement state-of-the-art best practices across the team
* Uphold the company’s values and high-quality service to all external customers, candidates and contacts
* Any other relevant ad-hoc duties as required by the CEO
What we are looking for
This role suits a strong leader who also enjoys sales and recruitment, building client relationships and opening new business opportunities.
* Experience in a candidate-short permanent market in medical device or life sciences (Europe or international preferred)
* Recruitment agency experience
* Proven experience managing and developing at least 2 recruitment consultants
* Proven track record of opening up and developing accounts
