Our client, a leading name in the marine offshore industry are hiring for a Project Engineer to work at the offices in Aberdeen. Title: Project Engineer - Europe/Africa Reporting to: Operations Manager Summary Working in partnership with all internal stakeholders to provide quality, effective and efficient support for the Europe/Africa operations department, to deliver projects ranging in size, across both Europe and West Africa Duties and Responsibilities Provide support to the Europe/Africa Operations department, enhancing the efficiency and success of daily operations and contributing to the seamless execution of multiple projects and initiatives Assist with proactively planning and coordinating projects, in accordance with the project plan and budget Effective utilisation and monitoring of resources and equipment in accordance with project costs Execute technical and administrative tasks as directed, and under the supervision of the Operations Manager where required Responsible for the delivery of project documentation in support of the specific projects, in conjunction with internal resources and under the supervision of the Operations Manager Responsible for document control within UK office including upkeep and maintenance of project specific folders and documents contained within Assistance with the maintenance of project management software, identifying issues and implementing improvements as necessary Contribute to project scheduling and manpower planning, ensuring key milestones are achieved Support in the development of procedures and system improvements, whilst identify opportunities for same Prepare and reconcile project expenses for management approval, including review of cost and P&L trackers Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, through rigorous review and robust quality control processes Initial set up for new projects within company programs as required Comply with Group HSEQ and HR Policies and Procedures Promote Group Values in everyday activities Education, Qualifications, Certificates and Training BSc in Business, Engineering or Science subject or equivalent Formal Project Management Qualification (APM, PMI, Prince2) Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years operational / project environment experience in the Oil and Gas industry Sound knowledge/experience of observation class ROV’s Experience of FPSO deployed ROV subsea inspection operations Knowledge/experience of a wide array of scopes including, but not limited to, UWILD inspections and WBT inspections Works closely with others to maximise team achievements and effectiveness through developing relationships and continuous sharing of knowledge and ideas Excellent attention to detail and interpretation of documentation Creative solutions focus for excellence in service delivery efficiencies Driven and focused with a willingness to further develop Excellent interpersonal, communication, client and vendor management skills Motivated, dynamic and energetic with a passion for exceeding expectations Hands on, innovative and solutions focus to secure positive outcomes Experience and knowledge of health and safety procedures associated with offshore operations Experience in a busy onshore and offshore environment.
