Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd is the Volvo Truck and Bus specialists across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. We provide a total transport solution for the industry, from new trucks to used trucks, and parts and servicing for trucks, buses and trailers.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Trainee / Parts Apprentice at our Rotherham depot.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated who is looking to develop within a commercial parts environment. With training (either at college or to run alongside our aftermarket development programme), you will provide the highest level of service to our existing parts customers, at the same time developing new contacts to broaden our customer base.
The Role
This is a trainee / apprenticeship position, full training will be given.
* Supplying parts to customers.
* Processing customers parts orders.
* Identifying, sourcing, ordering & pre-picking parts.
* Taking customer payments.
* Stock control, handling, storing, locating & identifying parts.
* Warranty processes and stock control.
* IT systems, booking in & out of parts.
* Communicating and how to support customers.
Apprenticeship Requirements
GCSE 9-4 (A - C) in English and Maths (or equivalent).
Hours of work
During the training period hours of work: Monday to Friday:08.30am 5.00pm
Once established in the role (rotating shift pattern):
Week One: 7.00am - 4.00pm
Week Two: 8.00am - 5.00pm
Week Three: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Alternate Saturdays: 7.00am - 12.00noon
