WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FRESH GRADUATE!
Building on our success in high-performance computing (HPC), Lenovo is expanding its global HPC/AI team with specialist performance engineers. We aim to lead the next generation of air and Neptune liquid-cooled HPC platforms. We are seeking a motivated and innovative HPC/AI Performance Engineer to join our team. This role involves rigorous testing of our systems at scale to ensure optimal performance, helping us develop some of the world’s most impactful HPC systems to address humanity’s greatest challenges.
You will report to the HPC Performance and Benchmarking team, supporting customers worldwide. Your responsibilities include participating in virtual and in-person meetings with team members, sellers, architects, and customers, and occasionally attending customer sites.
What You Will Do:
* Execute HPC/AI benchmarks using Lenovo technologies and prepare reports related to customer RFPs.
* Investigate and resolve computational performance issues related to HPC/AI applications and Lenovo servers.
* Support the delivery of Lenovo solutions, including reference architectures and validated designs.
* Analyze scientific codes and build performance extrapolation models for future HPC/AI hardware generations.
* Interact with customers and the sales team to provide insights into workload performance characteristics that influence system configurations.
* Conduct competitive studies comparing different technologies to highlight Intel technology advantages.
* Create sales enablement collateral for Lenovo Sellers and Business Partners, and participate in sales activities.
* Attend conferences and workshops on HPC to stay current with trends.
Key Requirements:
* Recent graduates in Computer Science, Physics, or other analytical sciences.
* Quick learner and adaptable.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with HPC systems.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams.
