We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all ages. As a Sports Coach, you will play a pivotal role in developing skills, enhancing performance, and fostering a positive sporting environment.
Duties
* Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
* Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies for various sports.
* Assess athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement.
* Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among participants.
* Organise and oversee practice sessions, competitions, and events.
* Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, regarding progress and development.
* Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and sports developments.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential.
* Level 1 in sports coaching
* Strong knowledge of the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport being coached.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young children.
* Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning sessions and events.
* A passion for sports and commitment to fostering a positive sporting culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £15.00-£23.13 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
