ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of the team, the primary focus of this role will be to proactively implement and lead Project Procurement strategies for both material and subcontractor packages across the regions including one of our Major Projects. Effectively engaging and communicating with the key stakeholders and the Central Procurement Team to deliver best value solutions for the business which meet the technical and delivery requirements of the project. Supporting the wider business strategy and delivering effective solutions on key procurement initiatives.
As our Procurement Manager, you will:
* Develop package strategies to meet project and business objectives
* Prepare supply chain and market analysis, presenting considered recommendations to the senior leadership team.
* Conduct supply chain due diligence and validation of supplier/subcontractors
* Negotiate Packages and Contract Terms in line with agreed strategy
* Be responsible for supplier/subcontract award and placement of purchase orders.
