We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a commitment to food safety and quality. Duties
* Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
* Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
* Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, catering to diverse customer preferences
* Manage food preparation and cooking processes efficiently to optimise workflow
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly food safety standards
* Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and control wastage to maintain cost-effectiveness
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting skill development and team cohesion
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times
Requirements
* Proven supervising experience within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
* Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
* Experience in food production planning and inventory control
* Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
* Previous restaurant experience is essential; hospitality background highly desirable
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Good communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
