A leading global manufacturing organisation are looking to recruit a Distribution Coordinator on a permanent basis at their site in Havant.
This opportunity will require you to work in a fast paced environment with a result to positively impact customers.
Key tasks include:
1. Work closely with manufacturing & purchasing to ensure the Customers delivery requirements are satisfied.
2. The processing of sales orders from their receipt to their despatch, including the maintenance of procedures for your specific customers.
3. Management of assigned customer accounts, gathering and creating export shipping documents and organising assigned transport method.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates need to have prior experience in a distribution/logistics role. Good IT skills are also required including proficiency on Excel and PowerPoint – Microsoft Dynamics experience would be ideal. Excellent communication skills are required as this role involves dealing with internal teams, key customers, and 3rd party logistics partners.
As well as a competitive salary, this position comes with 25 days holiday, company pension and a commercial discounts scheme. The role is site based on a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.
