We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team in the nuclear industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex nuclear projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical in driving the successful delivery of key initiatives within our nuclear facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning & Initiation – Develop project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resources) and define objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
* Stakeholder Management – Communicate with clients, regulators, and internal teams; provide regular updates on status, risks, and issues.
* Risk & Issue Management – Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain project continuity.
* Quality Assurance – Ensure compliance with standards/regulations; conduct reviews and audits of deliverables.
* Budget & Resources – Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor utilization.
* Change Management – Oversee scope changes, document adjustments, and align stakeholders.
* Leadership & Development – Mentor team members, build a high-performance culture, and support professional growth.
* Continuous Improvement – Drive process improvements, best practices, and innovation.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s in Project Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s/certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2).
* Experience: 10+ years in project management, 5+ in nuclear/regulated industry.
* Skills: Leadership, communication, project management tools, problem-solving, decision-making, ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Security clearance eligibility.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
