What you’ll do
* Take ownership of regulatory reporting operations, providing expert guidance on AEOI regimes and supporting business-wide compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
* Oversee the daily operation of the regulatory reporting department by planning, delegating, coaching, recruiting, and controlling workloads to ensure a consistently professional service is delivered to both internal and external clients as well as intermediaries.
* Provide oversight and agreement of FATCA/CRS returns while ensuring all submissions meet current legislative requirements and deadlines.
* Support internal stakeholders through the management of business-wide AEOI queries, offering technical input into processes such as Entity Close Off and Transfer.
* Manage and coordinate the entire regulatory reporting process by monitoring progress closely and providing regular status updates to clients regarding reports and critical deadlines.
* Lead the review of new regulatory reporting legislation, develop strategies for implementation, and deliver training sessions to help clients remain compliant with changing regulations.
* Guide, coach, mentor, and assess members of the regulatory reporting team to foster a spirit of collaboration and shared values within the group.
* Assist senior management in identifying tax risks affecting the business while developing practical solutions to mitigate these risks effectively.
* Respond promptly to new business enquiries by ensuring all communications are handled efficiently and resources or services provided by the group are clearly explained and promoted.
* Undertake various ad-hoc projects as required by management, producing detailed associated reports when necessary.
* Adhere strictly to risk management procedures related to regulatory requirements, AML legislation, CPD obligations according to qualification level, core company values, expected behaviours, and any other duties assigned by management.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager – Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting position will bring substantial experience from similar roles within financial services or accountancy environments. Your background should include extensive involvement with AEOI regimes such as FATCA/CRS across different jurisdictions. You will have demonstrated your ability to manage teams effectively—coaching colleagues through change while fostering an inclusive atmosphere built on trust and respect. Your proven track record in project management will be complemented by outstanding organisational skills that enable you to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. * Hold a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, ATT or CTA (or equivalent), demonstrating your commitment to excellence in tax compliance.
* Demonstrate deep expertise in AEOI regimes including hands-on experience with FATCA/CRS return preparation and submission across multiple jurisdictions.
* Showcase previous experience in line management or team leadership roles where you have guided junior colleagues towards shared goals.
* Possess proven project management skills involving coordination with multiple stakeholders under strict deadlines without direct supervision.
* Exhibit exceptional attention to detail combined with a high level of accuracy in all aspects of regulatory reporting work.
* Display excellent time management abilities that enable you to balance competing priorities effectively while maintaining quality standards.
