As our Facilities & Compliance Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our Bristol site safe, compliant, and operational. Your responsibilities include ensuring equipment and systems meet legal standards, managing statutory inspections, forklift contracts, workshop safety, and leading capital projects. This role offers the opportunity to own compliance and facilities management, making a tangible difference.
What you'll do:
* Lead projects from concept to completion.
* Translate stakeholder requirements into project plans.
* Develop cost breakdowns, payback models, and cash flow forecasts.
* Ensure projects meet safety and legal standards.
* Monitor progress, costs, and risks, providing updates.
* Integrate projects into site operations, including risk assessments and handovers.
* Support maintenance planning and stock management.
What you'll bring:
* Knowledge of facilities management, building, drainage, and statutory compliance (LOLER, Legionella, LEV, asbestos, safety systems).
* Experience managing inspections, maintenance, and contractor relationships.
* Project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and budget.
* Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder skills.
* Budget control, purchasing, and financial planning abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project.
* Health & Safety expertise (IOSH Managing Safely; CDM 2017 desirable).
* Knowledge of PUWER, CE, RAMS, SSOW, PTWs, and LOTOTO procedures.
* Flexible, adaptable, and performance-driven.
