Overview
Are you a veterinary surgeon seeking a new and exciting chapter in your career? Imagine working in a practice that values your expertise in a supportive and dynamic environment. My client, located on the picturesque border of Somerset and Wiltshire, is looking for passionate veterinary surgeons to join their esteemed team. Whether you prefer full-time or part-time work, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
Join a thriving first opinion and referral practice that boasts a robust team of 24 Vets, including specialists in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, and Feline Medicine. With a visiting Ophthalmology Diplomate and several vets currently pursuing further qualifications, professional growth is highly encouraged. You\'ll have the chance to work across two GP sites, with out-of-hours duties based at the dedicated 24-hour small animal hospital, ensuring round-the-clock care from the experienced night nurse team.
The state-of-the-art facilities include well-equipped consultation rooms, operating theatres offering laparoscopic neutering, isolation units, an onsite lab, ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray with staging service, and an orthopaedic service. All sites are cat-friendly ISFM with designated cat-friendly appointments, laser therapy, a dedicated staff room, and a brand-new CT department.
Located within easy reach of the vibrant and historic cities of Bath, the Cotswolds, Bristol, and Salisbury, with direct train routes to London and the beautiful south coast just an hour’s drive away, you’ll find the perfect balance of work and leisure.
The large, experienced team includes three Lead Vets and Clinical Directors who oversee the practices. With interests in orthopaedics, ECC, exotics, cardiology, dentistry, internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, and laparoscopic surgery, our team is diverse and collaborative. They pride themselves on their sociable nature, celebrating milestones and achievements together, often with cake!
They are also committed to environmental sustainability, having recently achieved the IIE Green accreditation, the highest possible level without compromising patient care.
