Full Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to provide comprehensive support to a dedicated directorate, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused People service.
This is a 3-month FTC to cover someone who is out of the organisation for some time.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the People leadership team, contributing to a collaborative, agile, and forward-thinking HR function.
A flavour of the role:
* Supporting, advising, and coaching managers on People policy and procedures
* Building and maintaining relationships with key managers quickly and effectively
* Supporting and advising managers on all aspects of Employee Relations casework
* Working with line managers to support employee/team member development and performance management
* Working with managers on role requirements and profiles
* Potentially assisting the HR Project Manager and others with various projects and tasks
* Managing administrative tasks related to the role
* Performing various other tasks related to the HR function, based on need
About you:
* Previous HR Advisor experience is essential
* You must have some level of HR Advisor experience from a Public Sector setting
* Strong ER experience - varying complexity levels
* Ability to manage and prioritise workloads with conflicting demands
* Experience working in a unionised environment would be beneficial
* Ideally, you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified
Package:
* 3-month FTC - to start ASAP
* Hybrid working, 2-4 days in the office
* 35 days holiday, including bank holidays (prorated accordingly)

This role is a full-time, fixed-term role, based in central Sheffield, offering a salary of approximately £37,500 - £40,500 per annum
