Mercer Way Stores LTD is looking for a Duty Manager to join our team in Romsey.
Position Summary:
The Duty Manager will help aid with the overall management of the store and its operations. This individual will be responsible for the supervision of store employees, including training, performance management and discipline. The Duty Manager will also be responsible for inventory control, scheduling, and customer service. The duty Manager will also assist when needed in food preparation including preparing our in-store hot food, baguettes and filled rolls, as well as maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
Requirements:
Previous management experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have a strong customer service orientation.
* Must have strong leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must be able to supervise and train employees on all store operations.
* Maintain a high level of integrity and honesty with customers and colleagues.
* Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
Contracted Hours (but must be flexible):
Sunday 05:00-12:00
Monday 05:00-09:00
Tuesday 05:00-09:00
Friday 05:00-09:00
Saturday 05:00-12:00
